These sets are usually a lot more expensive when purchased from the bigger craft stores. This particular kit comes with everything you need, easy to follow instructions and the casting once done, is very solid. We purchased this for one of our new grandbabies and it turned out perfect! This kit is a highly giftable item, no matter if you are giving it to a parent of a child or a parent of a pet. Pretty much anything casting idea you have to commemorate a loved one in any way, this kit is perfect for. I would not hesitate to buy this one again and I do hope you find this review helpful!

I was really excited to try out this baby hand and footprint kit. I thought this would be such a beautiful keepsake for my baby. I was surprised with how easy to was to get ready, and my husband helped me get our baby's hand and footprint and it worked great. I like that the material is baby safe and that it is made with airdry clay. We decided to use them as an ornament and are really excited to hang it on our tree this year!

I love this set. We used it to make an ornament of my baby's hand. It was easy to use and it looks great! I will keep getting this set for all of my kids to make a "first Christmas ornament." This would be a great addition to a baby shower gift too! Something that everyone wouldn't think of.

this is one of those things where it looks much easier than it actually is....easier said, than done. i had watched videos from the brand to walk me through this, but the end product just ended up looking sloppy. i have made one so far, and the one thing that lead to most of the issues i had with it...is the amount of clay you get does not completely fill the 'cookie cutter' shapes in the kit. they show you how to add letters to it, but it's impossible to do correctly since the clay does not meet the edges of the cutter. i have ordered inkless prints from this brand instead, and have had much better luck. but i would not try this or order this again.

I used this for our puppy as a keepsake and am really happy with the results. The clay is air dry only so there's no need to use an oven to dry it.It is fairly easy to do but there are some minor annoyances with the molds and the tools. The clay doesn't fill the mold so that you can use the roller to smooth out the surface. The roller is also not at wide as the mold so it's not easy to use it anyway. I had to redo my first attempt at smoothing out the surface and just tapped my finger on the clay to until it looked flat. There are 2 of each letter and number so to make 2022 I had to do 202 then add the last 2.The clay is easy to kneed, I just kept rolling it in my hands and folding it in on itself for the recommended 3 minutes.The product instructional video was very helpful. I recommend wearing rubber gloves.

I used this kit to take prints of my dog's paw and nose and it worked great. She's 14 and I'm not sure how much longer I have with her, so I wanted to make prints to frame later. It was really easy to use and make. I'm happy with how they turned out!

I had my soon to be 4 year old do an ornament, and it was a tight squeeze for her hand print but we made it work! This kit comes with fun letters you can cut out and stamp onto the clay for the name of your kiddo. The kit comes with everything you need and the instructions are easy to follow. Note that you do need to allow for a few days of letting the clay dry before painting. Going to do the teddy bear one with my one year old next! Such a fun craft and meaningful ornaments! Highly recommend!

We used these for my 16 month old and I was shocked her hand & foot were small enough but it worked!I was a bit messy but I think that's normal for these types of kits. I like that it came with some paint and letters to emboss the clay. They turned out super cute!

Box had everything needed except olive oil but it was moist enough that I didn’t need oil. My daughter did the teddy bear one and she rolled out the clay then used the stencil like a cookie cutter and then removed it and then did the paw print and it turned out way to thin. I stuffed the whole packet of clay into the heart stencil, had puppy print done and left it to dry inside the stencil and it came out great and nice/thick.Do a test run on the letter layout so you don’t accidentally have backwards letters which is super easy to accidentally have a backwards S etc.I had a couple errors on lettering and just worked the clay back over the spot and redid the thing a few times. Make sure paws are SUPER clean because we thought we cleaned good but I saw some dirt in the mold.It can be hard fitting a big paw with the name/year so I improvised a little and used whatever available space was left on the heart.Me and daughter enjoyed this!

A lot of similar things I've seen you've had to mix the clay which just has too many variables for it to not end up as you'd hope. I love that this clay comes premade and in a bag. It comes with a couple cookie cutters for the shape of the ornament or statue, but you could always use or make your own to be whatever shape you want! I also like the alphabet to put names - better than my hand writing. Such a fun kit and a thoughtful gift. Really happy with it!

This is a very cute print set with lots of included accessories. It comes all nicely boxed making it a great baby gift. You get two good sized molds a heart and a bear, paint and brushes, ribbons to hang it, mounting stands, two of every letter to stamp names etc in the clay, and two separate premade bags of clay etc. This set will allow you to do your baby/child or pets hand and foot then paint and mount it.

The included items are all good quality for their purpose. The air dry clay is very well sealed in two separate air tight containers. The molds are fairly sturdy and even include a nonstick sheet to ensure the back is flat, smooth and doesn't get stuck to a countertop etc. The paint brushes are the disposable kind but the work fine for this project. There is a small kit to make a indented lettering that includes 2-3 copies of every characters to make your own custom text imprint. The kit is rather easy to use and works very well. Tip:Wear gloves (not included) to kneed the clay to keep the clay clean and make it as soft / warm as possible. There are lots of left over extras that are great for other craft projects. You can even reuse this kit with additional clay. You can make hanging keepsakes (a bit large for a tree- but do-able) or use the included stands to make a stand up display of the keepsake. This is a great all in one keepsake maker that works very well and is well thought out. I recommend it!
