Bought for my baby , but I still have two months to go :)Everything looks good so far, the frame is heavy and feels like good quality , I can’t try the clay yet, so will wait until my baby is born and will be back to update soon
I was so impressed with everything that comes with this kit for the money, definitely a lot more things included with this kit then the one I did with my first born.This came packaged super well in lots of cushion so nothing would break. The set includes the frame with glass, clay, rolling pin, and stamps.The hardest part was rolling out the clay to get it the right shape for the space without getting any creases in the clay, which proved to be impossible and after several attempts the clay was hardening and I just had to leave it not smooth.I love that this set comes with stamps so I can imprint my little ones name in it to make it extra special.This is a great memory keeper with no mess, highly recommend to any parent looking to capture a special moment!
When I saw this, I though what a great idea and ordered it for my daughter who has recently had a new baby boy. She was too busy to use it straight away but did manage to give it a try yesterday with pretty good results.On opening, this comes as a complete DIY kit and has everything that you need including a full set of letters with a holder so that the babies name can be spelt out and stamped into the clay.After getting everything ready she rolled out the clay into the frame and just about managed to get the baby to let her make the imprint of his hand and a foot, he was rather grumpy about it afterwards, lol.Whilst the clay was drying, she sorted out a photo and his hospital tag and put those in place. Finally she fitted the frame part over the top and behold the masterpiece in my photo.The one slight downside with this kit is that the clay dries very quickly which causes it to crack, luckily this only happened around the edges which were mostly covered by the frame.Lovely set for a newborn or to gift to someone who is having a baby.

This is a really nice kit to make a very special memento of a little one's first weeks.You get the frame with the three sections. One is for a portrait photo, the small one is for wrist band they put on the baby in hospital and the biggest section is for the clay foot and hand prints.You get the clay in an airtight bag, a set of alphabet letter blocks and a plastic strip to hold them so you can impress the baby's name into the clay. The instructions on how to take the foot and hand imprints are full and clear and you even get a pot of pink paint and a brush if you want to colour the imprints skin colour (of course, not all babies have pink-coloured skin! - but the imprints look fine just left as natural clay.The card mount that frames the various spaces is printed blue on one side and pink on the other so the set is fine for a baby boy or a baby girl!So, as long as the parents of the baby find the time to do the hand and footprint casting in the middle of all the feeding, not changing and sleepless nights, this is a smashing kit to make a very special memento of a very special time.

This product looked great so thought we would capture my god daughters hand and foot to keep it in memory for her mum. The packaging was very impressive and the instructions were throughly explained for you. Once we did the imprints we left it in a room with no direct sunlight. The next morning we came down and everything seemed to be okay. I have read comments about cracking but I think if you take your time and follow the instructions properly you should be fine! It is tricky and not easy with a uneasy kid.The product itself is one of the more reasonably priced on the Internet. Some theme cost way over fifty pounds and for the overall concept of it being quite simple I think thats far too expensive. This kit comes with everything you need including a very nice premium wooden picture frame with glass cover.You can personalise this to however you want. With the included letters you're able to put your babies name and there's also a space for a photograph. All fits nicely in a white picture frame: truly a timeless piece you wont regret creating. I used this with my son who is currently 13 months old so it was more difficult to get a hand/footprint as he doesn't really sit still but I managed to do it with some time and patience. The clay didn't dry as smoothly as I would have liked but I think it still turned out pretty decent.
