Not only are the prints super gender neutral but I really like both the durability, the thickness, and the softness of them. Some muslin burp cloths are not soft and are scratchy on my twin boys delicate faces but these are nothing like that. They are almost as absorbent as a sponge and the cotton is super smooth. Wish this brand sold them in swaddles too!
