Easy to use! I wish I had this for my first child

I ordered this for my brother and sister in law who are expecting their first. Its perfect to create a lasting memory of those precious little hands and feet. I like how it has the smaller window to add the the hospital bracelet too or another small keepsake.

This is a great idea to cheaply create a photo frame with baby's hand or foot print. We moulded the clay and added a bit of oil to soften it and then rolled it into the frame. Baby wasn't cooperating the first couple of times for the hand print but it is really easy to roll it back flat and try again. When the clay is dry you can paint the imprint or just leave it white. There is a place for a photo and for the hospital tag.

This is a great keepsake, comes with everything, no complaints and would buy again

I was so impressed with everything that comes with this kit for the money, definitely a lot more things included with this kit then the one I did with my first born.This came packaged super well in lots of cushion so nothing would break. The set includes the frame with glass, clay, rolling pin, and stamps.The hardest part was rolling out the clay to get it the right shape for the space without getting any creases in the clay, which proved to be impossible and after several attempts the clay was hardening and I just had to leave it not smooth.I love that this set comes with stamps so I can imprint my little ones name in it to make it extra special.This is a great memory keeper with no mess, highly recommend to any parent looking to capture a special moment!

I've used this for my dogs paw print and photo. If using for a baby there's space to pop your baby's wrist band too. Or if your beloved pet has died you coukd put there name tag in this section.Easy and clean to use. Knead the clay until soft, roll into shape and press the paw or hand/foot into the clay. Simply leave overnight to air dry and that's it. There's, a little pot of paint in gold to use to add colour to the impressions or you could use your own paint or leave it au naturel.The frame is very good with the ability to hang or stand. I'd have loved this for when my daughter was born, I do have her baby hand and foot prints on a card from the special care baby unit she was in but having the 3D print would be wonderful. I've done my dogs paws because he's so special to me and has made a hugely positive difference to my life so he deserves this honour. The impression size is suitable for up to a toddler size.This kit is beautiful and well thought out. A gorgeous gift for new parents or for pet owners.

This little set comes with quite a bit including a blue and pink card for you to use around the imprints, some alphabet letters, gold paint with a paintbrush as well as a little roller for the clay. The letters can be used to personalise the frame to your content and can have as little or much as you want in the frame. This is a great nonmessy keepsake compared to the ink or paint which is usually used. Overall, lovely keepsake and would definitely make a great gift.

When I saw this, I though what a great idea and ordered it for my daughter who has recently had a new baby boy. She was too busy to use it straight away but did manage to give it a try yesterday with pretty good results.On opening, this comes as a complete DIY kit and has everything that you need including a full set of letters with a holder so that the babies name can be spelt out and stamped into the clay.After getting everything ready she rolled out the clay into the frame and just about managed to get the baby to let her make the imprint of his hand and a foot, he was rather grumpy about it afterwards, lol.Whilst the clay was drying, she sorted out a photo and his hospital tag and put those in place. Finally she fitted the frame part over the top and behold the masterpiece in my photo.The one slight downside with this kit is that the clay dries very quickly which causes it to crack, luckily this only happened around the edges which were mostly covered by the frame.Lovely set for a newborn or to gift to someone who is having a baby.

The set comes well presented in a cardboard box. You get a white wooden frame 12 inches x 9.6 inches, a sealed bag of non toxic clay, a small wooden roller, double sided tape, 2 frame cut outs, alphabet stampers, gold paint and a paint brush. It's so easy and simple to do, much easier than trying to get an ink print. No mess, no wriggling baby and no panicking parent. The frame is lovely looking and looks and feels of excellent quality. The back of the frame is finished well and opens up easily to put everything inside. It has a bit so it can be hung on the wall. It has a clear, understandable instruction sheet included. Once you've rolled out the clay, stamp out any wording on the clay and then you gently press babies foot or hand in to it and leave to air dry. It's suggested to leave for 4 days to ensure its completely dried, paint if you want and then wait another day before you frame and add your photo. When they do think of it, it will already be too late.We all know how fast children grow and for the best (and most memorable) effect this kit needs to be used as early as possible, they will never believe that their hands or feet were really that small, nor will you! There is even a set of letters and numbers included so you can impress their name and date of birth with the picture.This is a great quality, fantastically thought out gift item, you need no special tools or skills to use it.The air dry clay does not need to be put into a kiln, nor does it contain anything that will harm baby.Simply take the clay out of the airtight silver wrapping and work it until it is consistent and soft, then roll it out to the right size to fit in the frame section and then press the new arrivals feet and or hands into the clay to make an impression. Then all you have to do is let it thoroughly dry. At this point you decide if the gold paint is too much for you or not, if you like it simply paint in the impressions, or not if you dont want to. This is a really nice kit to make a very special memento of a little one's first weeks.You get the frame with the three sections. One is for a portrait photo, the small one is for wrist band they put on the baby in hospital and the biggest section is for the clay foot and hand prints.You get the clay in an airtight bag, a set of alphabet letter blocks and a plastic strip to hold them so you can impress the baby's name into the clay. The instructions on how to take the foot and hand imprints are full and clear and you even get a pot of pink paint and a brush if you want to colour the imprints skin colour (of course, not all babies have pink-coloured skin! - but the imprints look fine just left as natural clay.The card mount that frames the various spaces is printed blue on one side and pink on the other so the set is fine for a baby boy or a baby girl!So, as long as the parents of the baby find the time to do the hand and footprint casting in the middle of all the feeding, not changing and sleepless nights, this is a smashing kit to make a very special memento of a very special time.

This is a great gift for a new born, it's a fantastic well presented set that comes with everything you need.Out of the box you get the frame, the putty to make the prints, lettering to make impressions for dates and names and everything is of great quality.It's easy enough to do as well, which is a nice bonus, it took me around 10 minutes to get it up on the wall, it will take longer for the putty to dry, but it can still be displayed straight away.I'm happy with the result, it's easy to do and actually really clean too.Highly recommended.

You get everything you need to make a personalized keepsake. The clay is sealed in a foil packet. You need to kneed it to soften it for few minutes before rolling it out into the large section of frame. There is a yellow plastic letter block that can be cut down to size and spelling out your baby name and date of birth . There is a blue plastic printing block that the letters and slide onto ( mirror image) . Once you've cleaned baby's hands and feet . Press into the softened clay to make an impression and then one finished , press the name plate down to print date of birth . Leave to thoroughly dry then you can paint the imprints with the gold paint provided if you choose to. A picture can be added to the photo section of frame and there's a space for your baby bracelet too. You need to ensure everything is dry before putting the frame together. This will prevent the clay moulding. There is a choice of coloured backing panel if you would like something different to white. There are blue or pink alternatives. I actually bought an almost identical gift for my niece a few years ago and would have no problem recommending this product as it's beautiful quality, well worth the cost

I like how this is gender neutral and also in a colour that will go with most colour schemes. It is packaged nicely and came with easy to read instructions. I'd definitely plan ahead with doing this, it is something you wouldn't want to open and go ahead with doing straight away there and then, especially as a tired new parent. The clay was easy to use and didn't leave marks or stains on the baby. The clay did wrinkle a bit when pressed into however I think this adds to the look. It can be painted but I preferred not to. In the other sections we placed a picture and the hospital tag. It isnt too heavy and was easy to attach to the wall once dry. Would make a lovely gift for a new parent

This product looked great so thought we would capture my god daughters hand and foot to keep it in memory for her mum. The packaging was very impressive and the instructions were throughly explained for you. Once we did the imprints we left it in a room with no direct sunlight. The next morning we came down and everything seemed to be okay. I have read comments about cracking but I think if you take your time and follow the instructions properly you should be fine! It is tricky and not easy with a uneasy kid.The product itself is one of the more reasonably priced on the Internet. Some theme cost way over fifty pounds and for the overall concept of it being quite simple I think thats far too expensive. I would have loved this set if someone gifted to me at my baby shower so I'd say this kit makes a terrific gift. I'm not a crafty person so at first this kit seemed like a lot of work but it's actually very simple to use and play with. It requires planning before diving into it but there's nothing wrong with keeping it simple much like the sample photos in the listing which is what I chose to do. I would recommend this for sure!
