I wanted to love these as they are adorable. However if you have a baby with acid reflux, DON’T purchase them. The spit up just stay onto. So it get everywhere because they don’t soak anything in. Looks 10/10 functionality 0/10

Hour glass shape helps keep them in place, easy to machine wash, absorbed everything our little man barfed up. After 1 week with our newborn, we realized that 5 burp clothes were not going to cut it. I ordered 2 packs of these, and am quite happy with our abundance of clothes now. We get a lot of spit up action and she's a messy eater, so one gets laid under her while she eats, another gets thrown over the shoulder for burping and then we have more nearby just in case she has one of her milk blowouts (I'm talking shooting out her nose and everything). These have been a life saver. The 5 we originally started with from Burt's Bees are great and cute, but nowhere near as absorbent as these burp clothes – these ones definitely get the job done.

My last baby was 11 years ago - there was nothing on the market like this then! These are shaped perfectly to cover the front AND back of the shoulder when holding baby.
