Snack Time With KeaBabies
Toddlers love snacks - and creating healthy snacks doesn’t have to be difficult. Read on for some simple, nutritious snack recipes and how KeaBabies can be a part of your child’s eating adventures!
Forget fancy plated meals - most babies and toddlers love snacks! Serving small portions of healthy foods frequently throughout the day can be a wonderful way to expose your child to a variety of tastes, smells, and textures. In fact, for many picky eaters, being served smaller portions and offered multiple options can make mealtime less daunting. If you want to help your baby or toddler develop a healthy palate, try taking the pressure off by incorporating more snacks into their diet. Don’t forget the best way to keep your little one’s clothes clean during feeding time - the KeaBabies Silicone Bibs, now available in two adorable designs perfect for snack time fun.
The KeaBabies Whimsy Silicone Bibs come in two cute designs - Cupcake and Pretzel. The Cupcake bib is pink with the saying “Love At First Bite,” while the Pretzel design is green with the saying “Just A Lil Knotty.” Both designs have a sweet treat illustration on them, making them a great addition to your little one’s eating routine.
Snack time can be messy, but the KeaBabies Whimsy Silicone Bibs will keep your baby’s clothes neat and clean. They are made of thick, food-grade silicone, durable enough to withstand your child’s drips and spills. They can be wiped clean, washed with soap and water, or thrown in the dishwasher. They come in a wide, contoured design with six adjustable neck sizes, which means they’ll last from infancy well into toddlerhood. The bib won’t come out of place during feeding. It has been quality tested to make sure it’s the perfect shape and design to stay flat on your child’s chest. It even has a food catcher pouch to catch any spills. Food-grade silicone and reinforced button holes means it’s okay for your teething baby to bite and chew on the bibs safely without worrying about chemicals or damaging the bib.
The Whimsy Silicone Bibs are lightweight and portable. Simply roll them up and place them in your diaper bag! Snacking on the go has never been easier. The bibs also wipe clean easily, so no need to run to the bathroom to try to wash the bib while you’re out. You can put your baby’s utensils in the food catcher pouch before you roll up the bib, allowing your baby’s feeding items to be stored even more compactly!
Here are some simple snack ideas to enjoy with your little one:

- Baby Yogurt Melts (from My Kids Lick The Bowl)
Ingredients: 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1/4 pear, 1/4 cup raspberries
Mix 1/4 cup of the Greek yogurt in a blender with the fruit until well combined. Add the remaining 3/4 cup yogurt and mix with a spoon. Whisk the eggs and salt in a bowl and add the cilantro. Put the oil in a pan and turn to medium heat. Pour half the egg mixture into the pan and cook for 20 seconds. Sprinkle the beans on top and cook for another 20 seconds. Sprinkle a little cheese on top and place one tortilla on top. Flip the tortilla and egg onto a plate, tortilla side down. Slide the omelette back onto the pan, tortilla side down. Sprinkle the top with cheese, and place the second tortilla on top. Cook for one minute, and then flip over and cook for another 30 seconds, or until each side is browned and the cheese is melted. Cut into wedges and serve!
