This is a great changing pad—the cushioning is cushy and the size is roomy for the newborns and long enough for the head and torso on older babies. I too off a star since it would be great if both sides were made out of the waterproof material so that it would be easy to disinfect the side touching the changing surface (public restrooms can be gross) as well as if there is any spillage on the side the baby is laying on.
