Share 1 amazing tip about parenthood

Being a parent is hard. Taking it one day at a time and one moment at a time is all we can really do. Don’t try to plan too far in advance because babies and toddlers don’t always stick to the same plan; even if they’re on a schedule they tend to decide what to do and not do when they want. Some days are harder than others but you are always doing your best and that’s all you can do.

How did you overcome your difficulties or challenges?

I found a few mom friends to talk to and help work things out with. I also have a very loving relationship with my husband that we built on open communication and mutual understanding. If either one of us is having a hard day or time, we work it out together and try to solve the problems together as much as possible; or if space and quiet time is needed we make sure to give that time too.

Any challenges throughout parenthood and how you overcome them?

The most challenging thing for me was to feel like I was a good enough mother. In the beginning, I felt so lost and confused but I knew I loved this little child more than anything. I felt horrible for not knowing who she was or what she liked or needed at any given moment and I beat myself up over it. But as she grew I came to realize I truly am doing amazing and she is thriving even through all my challenges and difficulties. Parenting is truly a learning experience and even if you know how babies work everything is different when it’s your own kid. It takes time but soon you and your children will have an understanding and you will realize how amazing of a parent you truly are. You are the best parent for your child.
