I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of these hats! I have purchased winter hats for my older daughter and they felt pretty cheap, however, these are so soft and seem to be very well made. The puff ball on top is so fluffy, soft, and fun!I would definitely say the hats are too big for a newborn, unless the baby has a veryyy big head. These fit my 14 month old well.

Pom pom started to shed right away, especially the tan one. The cream one was only a little. I thought maybe it was just extra.but I didn't want to keep touching or "checking" because I didn't want to end up with a bald spot on the pom pom. These hats are so cute though! They fit my 18 month Olds head perfectly! I just hope if he plays with it or when he pulls on it (like children do) it won't fall apart

Reviewing the two-pack of KeaBabies Pom Knitted Beanies in "Rust". One hat is a light rust and the other an off white. These are not hats for newborns. Package says 6mos.-3years. I would definitely say these are toddler hats. But regardless, they are soft and well-knit. No lining. But the poms on the top are as soft as rabbit or mink; go on and pet it. Soothing. The inside tag says the hats are 55% viscose (From Google: Viscose is a semi-synthetic type of rayon fabric made from wood pulp that is used as a silk substitute); 25% nylon and 20% polyester. Wash before using. Cold water, gentle. But the label says DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. I picked a bunch of fuzz from inside the hats. I'm hoping these hats don't become shedders. If they are, I'll edit this review. But right out of the bag, they are winners, especially for the two-pack price.
